Melissa - Office Manager
Melissa has called East Texas home since the age of nine. She earned her RDA certification in 2012 from Tyler Junior College’s Dental Assisting Program and has been dedicated to the dental field ever since. With years of experience and a genuine heart for service, Melissa is passionate about supporting patients every step of the way. Her goal is to provide clear, accurate information regarding insurance coverage, thoroughly explain treatment procedures, and ensure every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they contact the office. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys participating in mission trips, where she has the opportunity to extend her dental knowledge and compassion to communities in need, traveling, shopping, staying active, and most importantly, spending quality time with her son Junior, family, and friends.
Crysta - Front Desk/Registered Dental Assistant
Crysta is originally from Jacksonville and has worked as a Registered Dental Assistant at Odette Dentistry for nearly five years. She is cross-trained in front desk duties, helping create a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. She enjoys supporting both our team and our patients with compassionate, detail-oriented care. Crysta will be continuing her education as a student of the TJC Dental Hygiene program beginning summer of 2026. Outside of work, she can be found spending time in nature, shopping, and spending time with her family. She shares her life with her boyfriend, Alfredo, and their rescue dog, Chino.
Darria - Registered Dental Assistant
Darria is from Grand Saline and is the newest member of the team, working as a Registered Dental Assistant. She earned her RDA from Elite Dental Assisting School in Forney in 2025. She is currently continuing her education at Tyler Junior College as a member of the Dental Hygiene Class of 2028. Darria is passionate about patient care and helping others feel confident in their smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading and cooking yummy meals. She spends most of her free time with her boyfriend Alex and their wiener dog Scooter.
Selena - Registered Dental Hygienist
Selena grew up in Jacksonville, TX, and completed the Dental Hygiene Program at Tyler Junior College in 2021. She has worked in the dental field since 2014, beginning her career as a front receptionist and working her way up to becoming a dental hygienist. Her experience in multiple roles gives her a strong understanding of patient care from the moment they walk through the door to the completion of their treatment. She has been proudly serving patients at our office since December 2021. As a bilingual hygienist, Selena is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their oral health. She strives to create a welcoming, positive environment while educating patients on the importance of preventive care. Outside of work, Selena enjoys spending time with her husband, Jose, and their four children — Noah, Naomie, Kailey, and Julian. She loves shopping, cooking, and making meaningful memories with her family.
Destiny - Registered Dental Hygienist
Destiny was born and raised in Kilgore, TX. She has been a hygienist for the past 7 years, 4 of those years here at Odette Dentistry. From day one, her is goal and what she is most passionate about has been to help patients improve their oral health while making them feel at ease. Whether it’s educating on home care, celebrating progress, or simply sharing a good laugh during an appointment, she strives to make every visit a positive experience. Outside of work, Destiny enjoys spending time with her husband, Kaleb, and their son - Gatlin. Together they love going on weekend getaways and creating memories as a family!
